Vision Boards
I recently had a client who seemed a bit stuck, emotionally. She is experiencing Alzheimer's and sometimes has rough days. I asked her if she'd ever heard of a vision board. She hadn't, so we created one together!
For those of you who don't know, a vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and affirmations of one's dreams and desires, designed to serve as a source of inspiration and motivation, and to use the law of attraction to attain goals. It can really help someone think about what they want their life to look like, and focus on attaining the things that are important to them.
Creating this vision board really helped her relax and find some purpose in her day. Introducing people to something new and seeing them enjoy it is one of my greatest joys.
